_Career change ideas
Career change ideas are not topics that were discussed in school. For most people a career change is one of those dreadful, knock-you-off-your feet, occurrences that most people would rather try to decrypt the code to Fort Knox's vaults than change jobs. Change of any kind is not usually on our priority list. Although change is inevitable, the word change normally represents pain, unfamiliarity, and uncomfortableness.
Now add the word career to it and you have just made a bad situation worse. Although 87 percent of the population absolutely hates their jobs, career change ideas are not in their conscientiousness. Interesting story my husband heard on national public radio. This guy stated that he had one of the most disguising jobs there is...he works in waste management, but he loves his job. Go figure!
So since change is definite and career changes are inevitable, would it not just make more sense to follow your passion. How do you find your passion? Check out these 3 easy ways to change from just working a job to living your dreams.
1. What would you do if you had all the money that you needed every month to surrender your financial obligations? How would you spend your time? Who would you like to help, how?
2. What are you good at? What task do you do at your current job that you do better than most people?. What do you do that comes easy for you and when others speak of the same duties, they state how hard and difficult it is?. What do you take for granted that most people will die to learn?
3. I heard Brain Tracy, one of the most sought after personal-development experts in the world, he'd also trained one of our former Olympic teams say this and this propelled me to take action. ANSWER THIS; if I gave you 5 million dollars today (tax free) will you continue to do what you are now doing for a living (career or job). Think about it... And if the answer is NO... this will hurt... You are simply wasting your life.
I told you change can be painful, and a un-schedule career change is right there at the top of the list. However, what's even more painful and pitiful are job cuts, outsourcing, lay-offs and company closings. And what's worse is families losing everything that they worked for years to accumulate. Some of those losses came from seemingly a blink of the eye decision of executives that chose bonuses over basics.
